ISROMAC 2020

Submission

The conference paper Submission system, powered by IOP publishing © is available here. For both the extended abstract and full paper submissions, please use the IOP templates available here. Both Microsoft Word and LaTeX templates are available, please convert to PDF file format for submission.

Two types of papers can be presented at ISROMAC 18:

  • Extended abstracts (2 page maximum)
    • Extended abstracts should include references, an abstract and figures.
    • Extended abstracts will not be published in IOP Journal of Physics: Conference Series but will be made available on the conference website after the symposium.
    • No need to submit a short abstract.
    • After login, go to “My Account”, use “Submit an abstract” and precise "Extended abstract" in the field “Remarks”.
  • Full paper (4-8 pages)
    • First, short abstracts must be submitted and accepted in “My Account” using “Submit an abstract”.
    • See Short abstract submission instructions.
    • Then, the “Submit Full Paper” option will become available.
    • Most articles will be published in IOP's Open Access Journal of Physics: Conference series.
    • A small selection of deserving articles will be chosen to be published in alternative journals as a full-length paper.
    • Note: Papers chosen to be published in journals will NOT be published in IOP Conference series.

Full paper format

As can be read in the author guidelines:

  • IOP does not copy edit or reformat papers.
  • IOP does not permit post-publication changes.

Your paper must be ready for publication when it is finally submitted to IOP. Make sure to proofread your paper.

The Microsoft Word and LaTeX templates and guidelines can be downloaded from IOP publishing support. The general writing guidelines are as follows:

  • PDF files must be submitted.
  • The PDF file is editable and not password protected.
  • Paper size is European A4.
  • Margins are 4cm (top), 2.5cm (left and right) and 2.7cm (bottom).
  • The paper includes the author name and affiliation (full address including country).
  • There are no page numbers, or headers and footers, within the paper.
  • The PDF is free of formatting errors (e.g. corrupt equations, missing or low-resolution figures), since conversion from Word to PDF can introduce formatting errors.
  • Text is single spaced, not double spaced.
  • All pages are portrait (landscape pages should be rotated).
  • Reference lists are checked for accuracy. References can only be linked via Crossref if they are correct and complete.
  • Figures are placed within the text, not collected at the end of the document.
  • A thorough proofread is conducted to check the standard of English and ensure wording is clear and concise.
More detailed guidelines are included with the downloadable templates.
